An episode’s live period is between its release and the release of the next episode. Action Camera Mode is a separate camera mode introduced in Heart of Thorns which adds a first/third person shooter-like element to the default camera view. You can unlock new Living World episodes for free by logging in to Guild Wars 2 while they’re live. Regular episodes of Guild Wars 2‘s Living World advance the the story of the world, open up new zones to explore, and provide rewards and horizontal progression paths for max-level players. Living World Seasons: Level 80 Story Content The journey will take you all the way from your character’s home city to the dead nation of Orr, and branching paths will lead you to different allies, threats, and information about the lore of Tyria. In the core Guild Wars 2 story, your character will join forces with one of the major organizations dedicated to fighting the Elder Dragons-the Durmand Priory, the Order of Whispers, and the Vigil-and tackle the threat of the Elder Dragon Zhaitan. If you need a little help, you can always invite friends to party up with you and come along as “guest stars,” but key decisions are yours to make. Your personal story will guide you through instanced chapters, exploring your character’s life and adventures as they shape their own destiny. Your character’s race determines which of the five major cities they call home, and where you’ll begin playing. This biography will set them on a story path, and future choices will lead them in different directions. You’ll choose from a range of biographical options that reflect their personality, history, preferences, and values. Guild Wars 2‘s story begins when you create your first character.
